Simple veneered tabletops with an unexpected detail: a colourful, layered edge.

The SIDE EFFECT collection is built around the contrast between the main surface and the edge of a tabletop. The edge is usually the less spectacular part of a piece of furniture. Here, we put it in the spotlight.

The surface remains calm and understated, while the edge introduces colour, rhythm and a distinctive visual character. The decoration follows the perimeter of the tabletop, creating a subtle contrast without overwhelming the clean, functional surface.

 

The edge is made entirely from wood. Veneers in different colours are pressed together into a solid block and then sliced into thin sections. These slices are applied vertically along the edge, creating a continuous striped pattern.

The tabletops are custom-made in any size and colour combination, with different surface veneers and edge patterns available to suit each project. The price includes matt finish.
